The Dynafit Transalper GTX is a robust waterproof shoe with a GORE-TEX membrane, developed for rapid ascents in high alpine terrain. The waterproof Transalper GTX is a fast and comfortable all-rounder for alpine terrain.
This waterproof, low-cut trail shoe excels with its comfortable fit and weighs only 360 grams. The Transalper GTX is also extremely durable and robust, allowing it to perform well in challenging terrain. The Vibram outsole with a climbing zone provides ideal grip and traction on both rocky and soft surfaces. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps your feet reliably dry even in wet conditions.
Along with the new quick lacing system, the intelligent forefoot design offers optimal support and a precise fit. Thanks to the additional cuff hooks, this shoe can be tied more snugly for via ferrata sections. This ensures greater stability when you need to climb quickly and safely. Furthermore, the proven Heel Preloader and diagonal heel reinforcement provide firm and secure ankle support. The TPU toe cap protects the foot from rocks and impacts and prevents rapid material wear. The laces can be stored in the stretchy fabric panel to avoid any tripping or falling.
The Transalper GTX is complemented by a lightweight Ortholite insole that enables maximum energy return. Additionally, it is made from 98 percent recycled materials. The U-shaped construction at the back of the insole ensures greater stability on steep descents.
Gore-Tex is a registered brand with a history dating back to 1958, often associated with waterproof fabrics. The Gore-Tex material consists of a narrow porous membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), which is laminated between other textiles, most often nylon or polyester. You can most often come across the term "Gore-Tex membrane".
