It is the most used motor in the category of electric trekking cross and mountain bikes with a value from 35.000 CZK to 55.000 CZK. Compared to the M400, it has a modified design and a thousand-square instead of a four-square.
Our view:
The Bafang is a good choice if you don't want/can't/need to invest more than 50,000 Kč in an e-bike. It is often an entry-level model into the world of e-bikes that will provide a nice boost on mild to moderate terrain. The downside is the inability to diagnose via the service interface, the somewhat monotonous engine response where it doesn't matter so much what cadence you are riding at and the increased consumption when going uphill.

The battery is among the most valuable components of an electric bike. It often constitutes even one-third of the total price of the e-bike. The clear colour LCD display shows not only basic information on battery status and the level of assistance currently used, but also other data related to the ride (speed, distance travelled, etc.). The display is also equipped with a USB connector for charging mobile devices (phone, navigation, lighting, etc.). It is most often found on electric bikes with Bafang motor.

At the bottom of the display you can use the "i" button to change the information displayed - current speed, average speed, trip, total distance and range.
