Description

The new fork from Fox with a 44 mm offset, 15x110 mm mounts, and an ultra-light Kabolt-SL axle represents the pinnacle in the lightweight XC fork category.

The 34 SL model was designed for the most technically demanding World Cup tracks and responds to the increasing demands of racers who require low weight, greater travel, and maximum stiffness.

With a 34 mm leg width and 120 mm travel, it defines a new level of capability in the low-travel bike category.

Unlike the previous 34 Step-Cast model, the 34 SL does not have slimmed-down lower legs. This allows for a larger air chamber volume and 120 mm travel without increasing weight.

The new model also features a redesigned lower section, which was designed using generative design. The result is 17% higher torsional stiffness and better tire clearance.

The new crown made from 7000 series alloy contributes to reducing the overall weight thanks to larger internal relief holes and an elegant black anodized finish.

Compared to the previous generation, the fork also has a 20% greater bushing overlap, ensuring smoother operation and better stability in challenging terrain, especially at higher speeds.

The damping is handled by a newly developed GRIP SL cartridge, specifically designed for low-travel forks, which optimizes pedaling efficiency and ensures exceptional ride performance.

Bypass channels have been moved from the rear to the inside, which increases sensitivity to small bumps and reduces dynamic friction.

The emphasis on weight reduction is reflected in the use of the Kabolt SL axle (saving 12 g), double-butted inner legs (saving 9 g), and optimized lower legs. Thanks to these changes, the 34 SL fork achieves a weight of only 1503 grams in the 29" version with 130 mm travel and GRIP SL cartridge.

The FOX 34 SL fork thus pushes the boundaries of what is possible with low-travel suspension. It is designed for racing deployment and aggressive trail riding where every gram counts but stiffness and precision steering remain essential. In combination with other components of the SL range, such as the Float SL and Transfer SL, it creates the lightest XC suspension system on the market. The entire ecosystem is 333 grams lighter than the nearest mechanical competitor and 489 grams lighter than electronic solutions, while also offering greater maximum travel.

This specific model is supplied without a control lever, which must be ordered separately. The Fox 34 SL is built for XC and ready for any challenge—whether you're aiming for the top of a climb or a technical descent.
