The MIPS® protection system helps reduce rotational forces during an angled impact, which you’ll appreciate in technical sections as well as on fast transfers. The helmet is designed for mountain biking, so it’s built to handle rough terrain, roots, and the occasional slip.
The 360° Fit System retention with a dial fine-tunes the fit around your entire head. That way, it doesn’t create pressure in one spot and also won’t shift when the trail gets bumpy.
Optimized ventilation with channels in the EPS liner draws heat away and helps you stay focused. On climbs, you’ll feel more comfortable without having to loosen the strap.
The one-hand adjustable visor is ready for both sunglasses and MX goggles, letting you react quickly to changing light. A practical sunglasses storage space keeps your eyewear safely within reach when you’re riding without it.

Fox Speedframe Helmet 5050 is a trail and enduro helmet for riders who want balanced protection, comfort, and features for everyday riding. Thanks to its precise fit, effective cooling, and smart details, it feels confident from the very first meters. It works well as a men’s helmet as well as a universal adult helmet for off-road riding.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall.
