AeroSystem Shaping technology, a result of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis and wind tunnel testing, perfectly optimizes aerodynamics at various yaw angles. The overall aerodynamic performance is further enhanced by the truncated ellipse-shaped frame tubes and also the innovative Contact SL Aero cockpit.
Outstanding riding characteristics are offered by the Advanced Composite frames, made from the highest quality materials using advanced construction methods and processes. They achieve high stiffness at a low weight. Additionally, the new generation of the Propel Advanced model is even lighter than previous versions, creating an ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio.
With the new two-piece Contact SL Aero handlebar and stem setup, you can easily swap components and precisely adjust your position. The innovative OverDrive Aero steering system cleverly conceals connections while avoiding complicated designs of fully integrated bars and stems.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) research and wind tunnel test data have provided insights that have been used to optimize the shape of the frame tubes and their connections to give the frame the best possible aerodynamic properties.
