Maximum Comfort: Slim seatstays and the specially shaped D-Fuse seatpost, together with Contact XR D-Fuse handlebars, significantly enhance shock and vibration absorption. This system ensures a comfortable ride without sacrificing stiffness during cornering, climbing, or standing pedaling.
Terrain Adaptability: The rear dropouts feature a flip chip system allowing for a change in the wheelbase. A shorter wheelbase increases the bike's agility, while a longer wheelbase provides greater stability at higher speeds and more space for wider tires (up to 53 mm). The bike is also compatible with the Giant D-Fuse "cushioning" seatpost or a standard 30.9 mm round seatpost, including a telescopic variant.

The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
The flip chip system is a two-position eccentric insert in the rear frame feet that allows you to easily change the wheelbase. A shorter wheelbase gives you a more agile nike, while setting it to a longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds while increasing the space for the rear tire (up to 53 mm wide).
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
