The Giant Revolt Advanced 3 is a new generation gravel bike offering greater comfort and efficiency for racing and all-day adventures.
The Advanced Composite carbon frame is 160 grams lighter than the previous generation, and its redesigned geometry with a lower bottom bracket, extended reach, and steeper head tube angle provides enhanced riding characteristics and bike handling.
The seat stays have a smaller diameter, are set lower, and in combination with the D-Fuse carbon seatpost, they offer uncompromised shock and vibration absorption while maintaining maximum stiffness for seated riding, climbing, or cornering.
Thanks to the innovative Flip-Chip dropout system, the wheelbase can be adjusted, with a shorter wheelbase aiding easier handling and agility, particularly in corners, and a longer wheelbase increasing stability at higher speeds, allowing for a rear tire width of up to 53 mm thanks to the increased clearance between the wheel and frame.
A special adapter allows for seatpost choice, enabling the installation of a Giant D-Fuse seatpost with the adapter and a standard 30.9 mm round seatpost or even a dropper post without the adapter.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
The flip chip system is a two-position eccentric insert in the rear frame feet that allows you to easily change the wheelbase. A shorter wheelbase gives you a more agile nike, while setting it to a longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds while increasing the space for the rear tire (up to 53 mm wide).
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
