Agilis – sports performance on the road and off-road.
The Agilis helmet combines a light, airy look of classic racing models with extended protection at the nape area. This makes it an ideal choice not only for road cycling but also for riding in lighter terrain.
The Roc Loc 5.5 retention system ensures maximum stability and precise fit on the head, allowing easy and quick adjustment according to individual needs. In the version with MIPS technology, this system is cleverly integrated directly into the MIPS layer, which contributes to a higher level of protection during rotational impacts.
The helmet features 32 ventilation openings with the Wind Tunnel™ system, which actively supports airflow through the entire structure. Air is efficiently drawn in through the front openings, channeled through inner channels, and exhausted at the rear, helping to keep the head cool even during high-intensity rides.
The shell is additionally covered with a durable polycarbonate underside, which not only highlights a clean and sophisticated design but also increases the overall durability of the helmet against everyday wear and tear.
Agilis is an excellent choice for cyclists looking for a versatile helmet with a balanced ratio of comfort, protection, and modern sporty look.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
