Aerodynamics, safety, ventilation - these are the key features of the POC Ventral MIPS helmet.
The polycarbonate shell is complemented by a lightweight EPS liner along with an integrated MIPS Integra slip liner for maximum protection and ensuring a low weight.
The 360° Fit System helps you easily find a secure and comfortable fit on your head.
The ventilation openings are perfectly designed and aerodynamic, with two front openings adapted for easy storage of glasses, even while riding.
The remaining airflow around the helmet is managed by a 22° trailing edge that minimizes the creation of turbulence and improves aerodynamic properties.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
