Smith Triad MIPS® is a road helmet designed for cyclists who demand maximum protection, comfort, and style.
Thanks to a combination of MIPS® and Zonal Koroyd® safety technologies, it provides advanced protection against both direct and rotational impacts, whether you're riding on asphalt or gravel.
The VaporFit™ system easily adapts to the shape of your head over a 270-degree range, so it fits perfectly and doesn't create pressure points.
Ventilation is ensured by 19 strategically placed vents and internal air channels that efficiently dissipate heat even on demanding summer rides.
Internal padding made from Ionic+® material, which has antibacterial properties and actively eliminates odor caused by sweat.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
The Koroyd system consists of thousands of co-polymer extruded tubes that are heat welded to form a unique, consistent and fully engineered core. Created with ease of use and superior comfort in mind, the VaporFit™ system relies on a proven dial system integrated with a tuned elastic fit through engineered shapes. Each VaporFit™ system has a full 5cm of swivel adjustment. In addition, the system can be moved up/down or forward/backward at the attachment points. The end result is increased comfort with a tailored and secure fit.
