It is intended for all hobby mountain bikers or cycling enthusiasts. From the wide range of available colors, you will surely pick the right one to complement your bike or outfit. With a removable visor and adjustable fastening system, which tightens using an adjustment dial, you can always set the helmet to be absolutely comfortable. For those demanding maximum safety, we offer versions with MIPS Evolve Core technology to mitigate rotational forces upon impact and a variant with an LED light.
The helmet is also available in XL size. MIPS technology is available in selected colors.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
