The GT Zaskar LT 29" Expert is a comfortable mountain bike with a rigid frame and suspension fork, suitable for long rides.
LT stands for Long Travel, and this former XC/marathon bike now features a 130 mm suspension fork and sharper geometry.
The head angle is now 66° and the seat angle 75°. Additionally, the rear triangle has been extended by 15 mm, making it a total of 450 mm. The wheels remain 29" and the distinctive TripleTriangle frame design is preserved.
In the Expert version, the bike is equipped with a Sram NX/SX Eagle 1x12 groupset and Shimano MT410 hydraulic brakes.
Triple Triangle is the construction technology of GT bike frames. This small triangular shape in the frame reduces rear flex, increases wheel liveliness and minimizes vibration transfer. The seat tube has a double joint with the top frame tube, and the seat stays form a stiffer and smaller rear triangle rear structure that increases handling precision. The triple triangle also provides more tire room and better power transfer to the rear wheel.
