4Ever Prodigy Race 29 is a sport-oriented mountain bike designed for cross-country and 29" bike marathons. In the 2026 model year, it targets riders focused on pedaling efficiency and confident handling in technical terrain. The build is based on a sturdy aluminum frame and a twelve-speed 1x drivetrain.

Frame and geometry

The ALU NEW SHAPE ICR 6061 TB frame uses internal cable routing, which protects the housing and simplifies maintenance. The geometry is race-oriented XC with a 68° head angle and a 75° seat angle. Chainstay length is 435 mm across all sizes. The bike comes in 17", 19", and 21" sizes, with reach from 446 to 487.2 mm.

Components

Drivetrain: Shimano Deore SL-M6100 shifting runs a 1x12 setup. The Shimano XT RD-M8100 rear derailleur is paired with a Shimano Deore CS-M6100 10–51T cassette and an integrated bottom bracket.

Brakes: Shimano Deore BR-M410 disc brakes use 180 mm rotors up front and 160 mm at the rear. The brake levers are Shimano Deore BL-M401.

Wheels and tires: The wheels are built around Mach1 XC Disc 29" rims and Shimano HB-QC300 and Shimano FH-QC500-MS hubs. Schwalbe Racing Ralph 29x2,25 tires are aimed at fast rolling in XC.

Cockpit: Exclusive sand blasted handlebars are 740 mm wide and are paired with an Exclusive sand blasted stem. A Selle Italia X3 Boost saddle and an Exclusive sand blasted seatpost maintain a sporty riding position.

Ride characteristics

The 29er wheel diameter increases stability at higher speeds and helps hold a line over rough ground. The frame’s race angles support precise cornering and quick changes of direction. The wide 10–51T cassette range makes it easier to pick the right gear on steep climbs without a front derailleur. The Rock Shox Judy RLO Taper suspension fork adds control over roots and on gravel sections.

This bike is intended for experienced riders who ride XC circuits, marathons, and fast trails without needing rear suspension travel. It also works well as a training hardtail for performance-focused cyclists who want a simple 1x12 drivetrain. In its class, it stands out with a Deore and XT mix and geometry with a longer reach.
