Superior XP 6.1 mountain bike Gloss Black/Matte Black is a hardtail for mountain biking in the 2026 model year. It targets sporty riders who are looking for a good balance of performance and price with an aluminum frame and a 1x12 setup. The build is based on a fast XC platform and uses modern axle standards.
The frame is made from Alu X6 Ultralite aluminum alloy with Race Geometry. Cable routing is integrated, and the frame uses the BB92 bottom bracket standard. The rear end features a UDH hanger and a Boost 148x12 mm thru-axle. The ACROS headset with ICR supports clean hose routing and includes a BlockLock 150° steering limiter.
Drivetrain: SHIMANO DEORE SL-M6100-IR shifting runs in a 1x12 setup. The SHIMANO DEORE CS-M6100 cassette offers a 10–51T range, and the bottom bracket is a SHIMANO BB-MT500PA PressFit.
Brakes: SHIMANO MT410 hydraulic disc brakes are paired with SHIMANO SM-RT30 rotors. Rotor diameters are 180 mm front and 160 mm rear.
Wheels and tires: The wheels use STARS R27-1M Tubeless rims with 32 holes and SHIMANO TC500 hubs for 15x110 mm and 12x148 mm thru-axles. Schwalbe Rapid Rob Active Line tires measure 29x2.25" and feature KevlarGuard protection.
Cockpit: The cockpit includes ONE Race handlebars with a 31.8 mm diameter and 5 mm rise, and a ONE Race stem with a -7° angle. Contact points are handled by a Sele Royal SRX 148 mm saddle and a ONE Race 27.2 mm seatpost, with ONE Sport Lock-On grips.
The hardtail concept and 29" wheels support speed on gravel and in lighter terrain. The SR Suntour XCR32 air fork with 120 mm travel helps hold your line through rougher sections. Boost thru-axles increase lateral wheel stiffness under cornering loads. The 10–51T cassette range makes it easier to choose the right cadence on longer climbs.
Superior XP 6.1 is designed for sporty XC riding, marathons, and training volume in the forest as well as on farm roads. You’ll appreciate it if you want a simple 1x12 drivetrain and modern frame standards, including UDH. In its class, it offers a practical combination of an air fork, hydraulic brakes, and tubeless rims.
