With the new Liv Lurra model, you'll have endless fun on the trails without rear suspension. This bike features modern trail geometry, 130 mm of front travel, and of course, a dropper seatpost is also included.
The foundation of this bike is the ALUXX SL aluminum frame with a modern design. It is equipped with a slacker fork featuring a 66° head angle, which enhances handling both on descents and in technically challenging sections. Conversely, on climbs, you can enjoy a steeper seat angle that positions you correctly for easy and efficient tackling of steep ascents. This also gives you a more playful and excellently maneuverable bike due to the shorter rear end.
The frame geometry is fully optimized for smaller 27.5" wheels (sizes XS and S) or larger 29" wheels (sizes S, M, L) with different riding characteristics. With smaller wheels, you can expect superb balance and excellent maneuverability. Opting for 29" wheels can enhance your ability to tackle obstacles like roots or rocky sections, thanks to easier rolling over obstacles.
Outstanding front suspension is provided by the Giant Crest 34 air fork with 130 mm of travel, which perfectly smooths out the terrain and eliminates both large and small bumps. For maximum comfort on descents, there’s a dropper seatpost, and wider tires ensure even greater confidence. The bike is tubeless-ready – modern tubeless technology improves the bike's performance thanks to lower tire pressure and significantly reduces the risk of punctures.
State-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design (92-millimeter wide for off-road bikes). Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
