The new version of Maxxis Dissector for 2025 is back with major improvements for better control, cornering, and braking.
The redesigned side knobs have a larger contact patch, which enhances grip and stability especially on hard surfaces.
The center tread retains the fast-rolling 2-3-2 pattern but now features split center lugs for better braking performance and terrain adaptation.
The transition knobs are pushed further out for smoother cornering.
Ideal as a front tire for trail bikes with 130-140 mm travel, or as a fast rear tire for bikes with 150 mm or more travel in dry conditions.
Combines great with the Forekaster or Rekon for a balanced ride.
Recommended use: dry, hard, rocky terrain.
The recommended rim width for these tires is 30 - 35mm.
3C MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compound that offers superior grip and slow rebound properties for unmatched traction, especially in downhill use.
DoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the development of double-layer construction for enduro racing. Two layers of 120 TPI casing reinforced with a butyl liner give the enduro racer the support and protection of a downhill tire, but in a lighter package. In the category of all-mountain tires, this is the highest level of protection.
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance.
And where there is no tube, it also reduces the risk of punctures. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared to be mounted with sealant than other "tubeless" tires. The bead of TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a true tubeless UST tire.
