Compared to the previous version of the Forekaster, which was designed for fast XC bikes, this new V2 model (07/2022) is aimed at modern trail bikes with 100-130 mm travel (Downcountry).
In comparison, the Forekaster V2 rolls faster than the Minion or even the Dissector, while offering more predictable cornering, climbing, and braking traction than the Aspen or Rekon.
Medium compound configuration used on selected MTB tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, but provides better tread wear and less rolling resistance than 3C MaxxGrip.
