The Minion DHF tire was designed for loose surfaces and muddy conditions of the NORBA downhill series.
The Maxxis Minion DHF features ramped knobs to reduce rolling resistance with grooved channels to increase the number of contact edges, providing better control in straight lines and precise cornering.
Depending on the track conditions, the DHF version can be used front and rear, or at the front combined with the DHR at the rear.

WT tires are optimized for 35mm inner rim widths, but have been proven to work in the 30-35mm inner rim width range. Maxxis Wide Trail XC tires are optimized for use with 30mm inner rims, but will work well on rims as narrow as 25mm. Maxxis does not recommend rims wider than 30 mm or narrower than 25 mm.
