Schwalbe Race Nobby Nic TLR E-50 Addix Green 29x2,40" kevlar tire

Description

On trails, the weather and the surface can change within minutes – and that’s exactly when you’ll appreciate the confidence of knowing the tire will “bite” and hold. Schwalbe Race Nobby Nic TLR E-50 Addix Green 29x2,40 is an MTB tire for riders who want to roll smoothly from hard-packed dirt into roots, rocks, and wet ground without unnecessary stress. When you need to lean into a corner or brake hard, you get predictable handling and a stable line beneath you.

Main benefits

Schwalbe Race Nobby Nic ranks among the most versatile trail tires with an exceptionally wide range of use – from rides and all-mountain to more demanding XC and more technical enduro sections. The redesigned tread with stable side blocks boosts grip when leaned over, so corners feel more confident even on loose surfaces. Larger gaps between the blocks improve self-cleaning, which you’ll notice especially in mud and wet pine needles, where the tire doesn’t “clog up” as much. The specific layout of the center lugs supports traction while pedaling and also provides convincing support under braking.

Technical specifications

The tire is made in a size with a rim diameter of 29 inches and a width of 2,40 inches, which also corresponds to the marking ETRTO 62-622. As a tubeless version, it’s suitable for modern MTB setups where you want to ride with a lower risk of punctures and better traction without an inner tube. The casing with a density of 67 TPI balances durability and trail feel, while the recommended maximum pressure is 3,5 Bar (50 PSI). The tire weight is approximately 980 g and the maximum load rating is set at 125 kg; the folding kevlar bead makes transport and installation easier.

Conclusion

Schwalbe Race Nobby Nic TLR E-50 Addix Green is a reliable tire for riders who want one all-rounder for changing trails and different surface types. Thanks to its tubeless construction, predictable traction, and the Addix Green compound, it makes good sense both on a standard mountain bike and on an e-MTB with the E-50 specification.
