The Minion DHF tire was designed for loose and muddy conditions in the NORBA downhill series.
The Maxxis Minion DHF uses ramped knobs to reduce rolling resistance with grooved channels to increase the number of contact edges, providing better control in a straight line and precise cornering.
Depending on track conditions, the DHF version can be used both front and rear or front with a DHR in the rear.

Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread pattern and profile of the tire on today's modern wider rims. Maxxis Wide Trail XC tires are optimized for use with 30mm inner rims, but will work well on rims as narrow as 25mm. Maxxis does not recommend rims wider than 30 mm or narrower than 25 mm.
EXO is a puncture and abrasion resistant material that is added to the sidewalls of many Maxxis MTB and gravel tires. Choose EXO Protection for superior durability in gravel, XC and light trail riding.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
