The MIPS rotational impact management system is designed to help increase protection in certain types of impacts that, unfortunately, can happen unexpectedly on the trails. The design with extended coverage at the back of the head targets the area where protection is often most important, while the helmet still doesn’t feel bulky. The practical integrated visor matches the shape of the shell and helps when riding in changing light or in the forest. And when you’re climbing or stopped, you’ll also appreciate the eyewear holders, so you don’t have to awkwardly tuck your glasses into your jersey.
The shell uses in-mould polycarbonate shell technology with an EPS liner, supporting low weight and a solid, durable construction. The helmet features the Safe-T Sport fit system with a 360° headband that helps distribute pressure and makes it easier to fine-tune the fit to your head. Ventilation is handled by a system with 12 ventilation vents and internal air channels that draw heat away when pedaling uphill. Depending on the chosen size, the weight ranges from 310 g in size S up to 370 g in size XL, and safety is reinforced by CE certification.
