Ortovox Traverse 30 Sea Surface is a backpack that has your back for hiking, trekking, and ski touring – exactly where climbs, wind, and quick plan changes come into play. Ortovox Traverse 30 Sea Surface is a versatile backpack for alpine terrain, designed to stay comfortable even on longer ascents. The COMFORT-CONTACT BACK SYSTEM with padded zones supports continuous airflow while keeping the pack stable against your body. Wide ergonomic shoulder straps and a sturdy hip belt help distribute the load, so you won’t end up unnecessarily “folding” at the lower back. Another big advantage is quick access to your gear thanks to both top and front entry, plus handy pockets for small items you don’t want to dig for at the bottom.
The main compartment is designed with a 30-liter capacity, placing the backpack in the 30–39 liter volume category for day hikes through to more ambitious outings. The material is a durable 210D Robic polyamide fabric composed of 75% recycled polyamide and 25% polyester, offering a good balance of low weight and abrasion resistance. The pack features a main top opening as well as a front zip access for quick visibility and organization, and it’s hydration-ready thanks to a hydration bladder system.
