Description

This lightweight backpack is designed to take on any challenge without compromise.

Running-vest-style straps distribute the load from your shoulders and arms across more of your body, while providing ideal storage in the form of two stretchy mesh pockets.

Access

• The magnetically closing roll-top opening with Ultra Cinch™ lock opens/closes easily and quickly, offers extra capacity, and allows you to attach gear to the top of the pack. 
• The large rear panel is accessed via a robust yet lightweight 8mm water-resistant UltraZip™.

Back-carry system

• Greater comfort thanks to low-profile padded running-vest-style straps that distribute weight better and provide pockets for quick access to small items.
• Two quick-adjust sternum straps for a more active, ergonomic carry (use both, one, or none).
• Optional quick-attach padded hip belt (with storage and a Capture Clip attachment point) sold separately.
• Padded back panel with a central channel for improved airflow.
• Breathable, quick-drying perforated foam padding on the back panels and shoulder straps.
• Top handle for easy carrying.

Internal storage

• 5 L of expandable capacity (20 L minimum, up to 25 L maximum).
• Hydration pocket (with a hydration bladder hanger) can also be used as a laptop sleeve for up to a 16” Macbook Pro.
• Hydration hose port at the top of the backpack.
• Fully customizable modular interior with Peak Design Packing Tools (sold separately).
• Removable key tether can be moved between different pockets.

External storage

• 3 large external Flex Pockets™ provide expandable, quick-access storage.
• The unique Flex Pocket™ design keeps the backpack looking clean whether it’s full or empty—never messy or unorganized.
• Plenty of side space for water bottles, trekking poles, tripods, and other long items.
• The center Flex Pocket™ is great for bulky items like jackets and can also serve as an additional hydration bladder pocket.
• Cord Hook™ external carry straps (2x) for quickly securing gear to the outside of the pack.
• Elastic adjustable Cord Hook™ Gear Loops (2x) offer additional quick and easy external attachment options.
• External straps and Gear Loops attachment points are made from ultra-strong, abrasion-resistant UHMWPE fiber.
• Hidden Cord Rails™ attachment rails let you secure additional gear anywhere on the outside of the backpack, ideally using Cord Hook straps or Gear Loops—but you can use any other strap as well.
• Internal pocket fits up to a 16” MacBook Pro.

Protection from the elements

• Primary outer material is ultralight Terra Shell™ 210D ripstop made from 100% recycled nylon.
• Secondary outer material (front and bottom) is Terra Shell™ 210D ripstop with TPU lamination (not made from recycled materials).
• PFAS-free water-repellent treatment and an internal PU coating.
• The backpack is functionally water-resistant and has an optional Rain Fly (sold separately) for complete waterproof protection.
• Spot clean with warm water and a mild detergent; hand wash only.
• Fair Trade certification and 100% climate-neutral manufacturing

Materials

• Ultralight Terra Shell™ 210D ripstop outer fabric is water-resistant, 100% recycled, and Bluesign certified.
• Internal PU coating with a 1500 mm water column rating.
• PFAS-free water-repellent finish is a more eco-friendly alternative to standard DWR treatments.
• Extremely durable 8mm and 5mm UltraZips™ with abrasion-resistant UHMWPE threads.
