This lightweight backpack is designed to tackle all challenges without any compromises.

The running vest-style straps effectively distribute the load from shoulders and arms across a larger portion of the body, providing ideal storage space in the form of two mesh stretch pockets.

Access

• Magnetic roll-top closure with Ultra Cinch™ locking is easy and fast to open/close, offers volume expansion, and allows gear attachment to the top of the backpack.
• The large rear panel is accessible via a robust yet lightweight 8mm waterproof UltraZip™.

Carrying System

• Increased comfort with low-profile padded vest-style straps that better distribute weight and provide pockets for quick access to small items.
• Two easily adjustable sternum straps for more active and ergonomic carrying (can use both, one, or none).
• Optional quickly attachable padded hip belt (with storage space and mounting point for Capture Clip) sold separately.
• Padded back panel with central airflow channel.
• Breathable quick-drying perforated foam padding on back panels and shoulder straps.
• Top handle for easy carrying.

Internal Storage

• Volume expansion by 5 L (20 L at minimum, up to 25 L at maximum).
• Hydration pocket (with reservoir clip) can also function as a laptop compartment for up to 16” Macbook Pro.
• Hydration hose pass-through at the top of the backpack.
• Fully customizable modular interior with Peak Design Packing Tools (sold separately).

External Storage

• 3 large external Flex Pockets™ provide expandable storage with quick access.
• Unique Flex Pocket™ design ensures a clean look of the backpack, whether full or empty, it never appears disorganized.
• Ample space for water bottles, trekking poles, tripods, and other long items on the sides.
• Central Flex Pocket™ is excellent for bulky items like jackets and can also serve as an additional hydration sleeve pocket.
• External Cord Hook™ attachment straps (2x) for quick gear attachment to the backpack's exterior.
• Elastic adjustable Cord Hook™ Gear Loops (2x) offer additional quick and simple options for external attachment.
• External straps and Gear Loops are made from ultra-durable, abrasion-resistant UHMWPE fiber.
• Hidden Cord Rails™ attachment rails allow for attaching additional gear anywhere on the outside of the backpack, ideally using Cord Hook straps or Gear Loops. However, any other strap can be used.
• Internal pocket fits up to 16” MacBook Pro.

Environmental Protection

• The primary external material is ultra-light Terra Shell™ 210D ripstop made from 100% recycled nylon.
• The secondary external material (front and bottom) is Terra Shell™ 210D ripstop laminated with TPU (not from recycled materials).
• PFAS-free water-repellent treatment and internal PU coating.
• The backpack is functionally water-resistant and features an optional Rain Fly (sold separately) for complete waterproofing.
• Spot clean with warm water and mild detergent, hand wash only.
• Fair Trade certification and 100% climate-neutral manufacturing.

Materials

• Ultralight Terra Shell™ 210D ripstop outer fabric is water-resistant, 100% recycled, and Bluesign-approved.

• PFAS-free water repellent impregnation is a more environmentally friendly alternative to standard DWR treatments.
• Extremely durable 8mm and 5mm UltraZips™ with abrasion-resistant UHMWPE fibers.
