Description

PearTune MSO is an e-bike tuning chip used to remove the 25 km/h pedal-assist speed limit on e-bikes with a PANASONIC Power Plus, GX0, GX Ultimate mid-drive, model years 2018–2024, in any combination with all available displays.

The device does not need to be configured and no diagnostics are required during installation – everything happens automatically and adapts to the specific e-bike.

PearTune is connected between the speed sensor and the motor unit, and between the display and the motor unit. It is powered by the display. All data such as current, average, and maximum speed, as well as distance traveled, remain accurately displayed.

PearTune MSO can be switched on or off at any time while riding by two long presses of the light button, or by four short presses of the + and - buttons.

The main advantage is that after installation, the e-bike’s maximum speed is no longer limited – it is determined only by pedaling cadence.

The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes. This manual is an integral part of the sold device. By using the PearTune MSO device, the user undertakes to operate the modified e-bike in accordance with the applicable legislation of the given country, including outside public roads, i.e., only on private property or on designated land. The user also acknowledges that riding the bike outside their own property, even with the PearTune MSO device switched off but installed, may not comply with legislation. The manufacturer does not guarantee that the e-bike warranty will not be voided, nor that damage to or blocking of the e-bike system cannot occur. The manufacturer disclaims liability for any damages, whether to health or property, associated with the installation or use of this device. The manufacturer holds a certificate of electromagnetic compatibility testing – compliance with EU regulations (CE marking) and a certificate on the restriction of the use of hazardous substances (RoHS marking).
