HardWALL

Tire construction technology with a protective layer from bead to bead and with a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. The tire construction, designed explicitly for riding in challenging terrains, includes several reinforcements built directly into the tire's casing, intended to enhance the overall durability of the weave as well as allow greater support when using lower pressures. With a nylon protective layer from bead to bead, which is an integral part of the weave, and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is predestined to handle harsh treatment with ease and protects against punctures. Incorporating these reinforcing elements, along with the 60 TPI nylon weave, contributes to a solid and durable construction that ensures reliability and ride quality without compromising on weight and pedaling efficiency.

SmartGRIP

Experience and victories in rally and motocross led Pirelli developers to invent the innovative SmartGRIP rubber compound. This special compound combines two opposing properties:
a) Cut resistance: provides maximum mechanical grip and traction in dry conditions and higher puncture resistance with extended durability.
b) Chemical wet grip: no need to worry about changing conditions, whether it rains or there are muddy and slippery sections on the track.

The result is a longer lifespan of the tire's performance, which maintains excellent grip. The tire retains these driving characteristics even when the tread wears down. The single compound SmartGRIP formulation enables consistent performance throughout the tire's wear. The greater mechanical resistance of the rubber also provides higher resistance not only against wear but also against punctures.
