Tire construction technology with protective layer from bead to bead and a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. The tire construction is designed specifically for off-road riding style – with several reinforcements built directly into the tire's carcass to enhance the overall durability and allow for greater support at lower pressures. Featuring a nylon protective layer from bead to bead that's integral to the casing, and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is destined to withstand relentless abuse with ease and prevents punctures. Incorporating these reinforcement elements along with the nylon casing at 60 TPI density contributes to a solid and durable construction that supports reliability and ride quality without compromising on weight and pedaling power transfer efficiency.

SmartGRIP Gravity

The tire compound for DH and rugged enduro riding was developed in collaboration with the world's top downhill riders. This compound excels with a softer blend, tear resistance, better grip in all conditions, and high stability and control at high speed.

The result is a longer-lasting tire performance, offering excellent grip. The tire maintains these performance attributes even as the tread wears down. The single-compound design of SmartGRIP Gravity allows for consistent performance throughout tire wear. Greater mechanical durability of the rubber also provides increased resistance not only to wear but also to punctures.
