Tire construction technology with a protective layer from bead to bead and a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. The tire construction is designed specifically for riding styles in challenging terrains – several reinforcements integrated directly into the tire carcass are intended to enhance the overall durability of the casing, and enable greater support at lower pressures. With a nylon protective layer from bead to bead, which is an integral part of the casing and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is predestined for tackling harsh handling with ease and protects against punctures. Incorporating these reinforcing elements along with a 60 TPI nylon casing contributes to a solid and durable construction that supports reliability and ride quality without compromising on weight and power transfer efficiency.

SmartGRIP Gravity

The tire compound for DH and rough Enduro riding was developed in collaboration with the world's best downhill riders. This compound excels in softer mix, tear-resistance, improved grip in any condition, high stability, and control at high speeds.

The result is a longer-lasting riding performance of the tire, which maintains excellent grip. The tire retains these riding properties even as the tread wears down. The single-compound composition of SmartGRIP Gravity allows for consistent riding characteristics as the tire wears. The increased mechanical resistance of the rubber also provides higher resistance not just against wear, but also against punctures.
