Tire construction technology with a protective layer from bead to bead and a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. Designed specifically for the riding style in tough terrain, multiple reinforcements are built directly into the carcass to enhance the overall durability of the ply and allow for greater support when using lower pressures. With a nylon protective layer from bead to bead, which is an integral part of the ply and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is destined to handle harsh treatment with ease and protect against punctures. The integration of these reinforcing elements, together with the 60 TPI nylon ply, contributes to a solid and durable construction that supports reliability and ride quality without compromising on weight and pedaling power efficiency.

SmartGRIP

Experience and victories in rally and motocross led Pirelli developers to invent the innovative SmartGRIP rubber compound. The special compound combines two contrasting properties:
a) Cut resistance: guarantees maximum mechanical grip and traction in dry conditions and greater puncture resistance along with longer lifespan.
b) Chemical grip in wet conditions: no need to worry about changing conditions, whether it's going to rain or if there are muddy and slippery sections on the course.
