HardWALL

Tire construction technology with a protective layer from bead to bead and a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. Tire construction designed specifically for riding style in demanding terrain – several reinforcements built directly into the tire's carcass are intended to enhance overall ply durability, as well as to allow for greater support at lower pressures. With a nylon protective layer from bead to bead, which is an integral part of the ply, and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is designed to handle relentless treatment with ease and protect against punctures. Incorporating these reinforcement features along with a nylon ply with 60 TPI density contributes to a solid and durable construction, supporting reliable quality riding without compromising weight and power transmission efficiency.

SmartGRIP

Experience and victories in rally and motocross led Pirelli developers to invent the innovative SmartGRIP rubber compound. This special compound combines two opposing properties:
a) Cut resistance: guarantees maximum mechanical grip and traction in dry conditions and higher puncture resistance along with longer lifespan.
b) Chemical grip in wet conditions: there's no need to think about changing conditions, whether it will rain or whether there will be muddy and slippery sections on the track.

The result is longer-lasting riding properties of the tire, which maintains excellent grip. The tire retains these riding properties even as the tread wears down. Single-compound composition SmartGRIP allows for consistent riding performance during tire wear. Greater mechanical resilience of the rubber also provides higher resistance not only to wear but also to punctures.
