POC Ventral Tempus MIPS is a cycling helmet designed specifically for riding in adverse weather conditions.
With a fully covered polycarbonate shell, it provides excellent protection against wind, rain, and snow, making it an ideal choice for winter training or cold, damp days.
Compared to regular aerodynamic helmets, it offers greater thermal comfort without compromising on ventilation and airflow.
The helmet is equipped with advanced MIPS Integra safety technology, which significantly reduces rotational forces during impacts and enhances brain protection in the event of a fall.
Lightweight EPS core and unibody construction ensure maximum strength and low weight.
Thanks to its smart design with an aerodynamically optimized trailing edge, it ensures efficient airflow even at higher riding intensities.
360° adjustment system allows for easy and precise size fitting.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
