The R2 Wheelie is a children's, very lightweight helmet made using IN-MOLD safety technology, which perfectly protects the child's head during every fall.
The helmet features X-Protect technology, meaning reinforced parts for even greater safety.
A system of 16 ventilation openings ensures quality airflow, while the removable visor provides comfortable protection in sunny weather.
The helmet is complemented by the Ergo Fix adjustment system, Easy Lock fastening, Bug Net insect mesh, and anti-bacterial removable and washable padding.

In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
