Uvex Air Wing 2 is an affordable universal helmet suitable for all types of cycling.
Inmould technology involves direct injection of polystyrene into the shell, firmly connecting both parts and distributing impact energy across the entire surface of the helmet.
The 3D IAS fastening system allows easy adjustment of the helmet's inner circumference and height within the shell. The system ensures a perfectly fitting helmet without any pressure points.
Thanks to the simple FAS straps, you can adjust the helmet to fit the shape of your face, and the helmet will stay securely on your head in all situations.
An LED light - sold separately can be attached to the rear part of the helmet - not included in the package.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact.
