The R2 Pump is a helmet designed for young cyclists aged 2 to 4 years.
The helmet features an In-mold construction with 15 ventilation openings for air circulation. It also includes X-Protect technology, meaning reinforced areas for even greater safety.
The helmet's size adjustment system, Dual Fix, ensures a perfect fit on the head.
The helmet has an internal insect net, Easy Lock fastening, and a removable antibacterial liner.
The durability of the helmet is ensured by certified safety according to CE EN 1078 standard.
Weight: 220 g
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
