A Choice Without Compromises - Designed for Enduro/DH Racers.
The ClipGrip rubber outsole with nylon reinforcement for more efficient power transfer to the pedals complements a 40 mm long cleat groove with index markings for precise adjustment. The hexagonal outsole pattern with a reverse profile at the toe and heel is perfect for walking uphill or downhill. The EVA foam midsole enhances comfort and performance.
The lightweight welded upper made from Cordura mesh ensures durability while maintaining breathability. The internal antibacterial mesh prevents odors. The insole with D3O High Impact Zone technology absorbs shocks and reduces fatigue.
Fully sewn tongue allows for a secure foot placement and prevents shifting. The BOA Li2 closure system with specially shaped KPU Rampart guard protecting the BOA dial from impacts offers multi-directional adjustment for tightening and loosening. The TX4 textile laces are elastic and low-friction.
BOA is a technology developed by Boa Technology Inc. This patented technology is based on three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial in the form of a rotating wheel, a thin extra-strong lace and low-friction lace guides. This system is an effective way to tighten shoes and other equipment across many sports (golf, winter sports, cycling, athletics, hiking, and others). BOA Technology Inc. is headquartered in Denver, CO with offices in Austria, Hong Kong, China, South Korea and Japan.
D3O® offers the thinnest and most advanced impact protection available. Their products are used around the world by military, professional athletes, industrial workers and everyday bike riders. D3O utilizes unique patented technologies to produce soft, flexible, speed-sensitive materials with high impact absorption properties, which are used in impact protection products. Based on non-Newtonian principles, the material's molecules flow freely in their raw form, allowing it to be soft and flexible, but lock into each other upon impact to dissipate impact energy and reduce the transmitted force.
Cordura is a collection of synthetic fiber-based fabric technologies used in a wide range of products including luggage, backpacks, trousers, military and functional clothing. Cordura fabrics are usually made of nylon, but can be a blend of nylon with cotton or other natural fibers. The history of Cordura dates back to 1929.
EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
