Kids put every material to the test. That’s why ordinary sneakers they might wear to the playground won’t hold up on a bike. Ride Concepts Livewire deliver above-standard features, excellent sole grip, durability, top-tier design, and uncompromising quality.
When riding, you’ll appreciate that they fit the foot extremely well, ventilate, are sturdy, and still very comfortable. The High Grip sole compound offers the perfect balance between grip and durability. Another advantage is the Hexagon sole tread, which is tuned differently for each shoe model and intended use—down to the smallest details, including the width of the gaps. Thanks to that, the pins hold extremely well even in wet and muddy conditions.
The outsole with an EVA midsole combined with an integrated TPU toe and heel protector, complemented by a unique EVA Dual Density insole protects feet from impacts and deflection. The combination of breathable synthetic leather and abrasion-resistant textile is durable while still providing excellent ventilation. Everything is refined down to the smallest details, including a slightly asymmetrical construction that is higher on the inner side, providing increased protection.

EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
