Men’s Salewa Puez 2.5L jacket with a Powertex membrane, designed and tested in the Dolomites.
It is made from 57% recycled materials. The construction features a water-repellent DWR finish, 2 zippered side pockets, taped seams, and waterproof zippers.
The Powertex membrane provides waterproofness up to 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m3/24h.

Durable Water Repellent (DWR) is a durable coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water repellent (hydrophobic). While the coating is effective, it also wears off and as such is recommended to be renewed/maintained with impregnating agents.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
