Salewa Pedroc 2.5L PTX Light is an ultralight and technical jacket designed for intense mountain activities where protection against water and wind is crucial without unnecessary burden.
It utilizes a three-layer breathable Powertex® 2.5L membrane with a water column of 10,000 mm, ensuring reliability in variable weather and excellent ventilation.
Thanks to its minimalist cut and light weight, the jacket layers easily under other layers or packs into a small volume without restricting movement.
The cut is optimized for athletic performance – ergonomically shaped sleeves, taped seams, and waterproof zippers ensure that water and wind have no chance of penetrating.
Practical features include an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, two zippered pockets for secure storage of small items, elastic cuffs, and hem for a snug fit even during movement.
Reflective elements ensure higher visibility in poor lighting conditions.
Difficult snowy rocky climbs with some sections of climbing in technical ice require reliable waterproof, windproof and abrasion resistant clothing. SALEWA® has developed its proprietary, highly robust Powertex CORDURA® fabric specifically for this purpose. Its 3-layer laminate construction ensures protection from the weather, while the ultrathin polyurethane (PU) membrane ensures that moisture from perspiration can escape. The outer layer is made from 94% CORDURA® (polyamide) high abrasion resistant nylon with 6% elastane for greater stretch and freedom of movement.
