SALEWA Pedroc 2 Powertex 2.5 is an ultralight men’s hardshell jacket designed for dynamic mountain activities such as speed hiking or fast-paced trekking in changeable conditions.
Thanks to the 2.5-layer Powertex material construction, it provides reliable protection against rain and wind while maintaining exceptional breathability.
The water column reaches 20,000 mm and breathability up to 40,000 g/m²/24 h, so the jacket effectively shields you from bad weather while wicking away moisture during intense movement.
The low weight of around 170 g and the athletic fit ensure maximum freedom of movement and comfort even at a fast pace.
Fully taped seams, an elastic storm hood, and stretchy cuffs enhance protection against wind and rain, while snap-button ventilation features help regulate temperature during higher exertion.
Practical details such as a zippered chest pocket, reflective elements, or the option to pack the jacket into its own pocket make it an ideal companion for light and fast mountain outings.
The material is made of 100% polyamide with a PFC-free finish that repels water while being gentler on the environment.
The jacket is also part of the Salewa Committed range, which emphasizes more sustainable production and a lower impact on nature.
The Salewa brand initiative, committed to a sustainable and ethical approach in all phases of its business. The program focuses on responsible resource management, environmental protection, and improving working conditions throughout the supply chain.
