With the Shimano Deore BL-M6200+BR-M6220 front+rear brake set, you’ll have peace of mind when the trail drops into a steep descent. The lever fits naturally in your hand, and the braking power comes on exactly when you need it.
Hydraulic disc brakes for MTB, Enduro, and E-MTB deliver confident lever feel and control in changing conditions. Thanks to SERVO WAVE technology, the pads move quickly toward the rotor, and then the power builds smoothly.
The four-piston caliper supports stable braking performance even on longer descents where you’re braking repeatedly. Braking remains predictable, so you can focus on your line rather than fine-tuning modulation.
New seals and low-viscosity mineral oil help maintain a smooth action and a consistent bite point in both heat and cold. The result is a similar lever feel across different temperatures and different types of terrain.
I-Spec EV compatibility allows for a cleaner cockpit layout and tidier hose routing. It also adds the option to adjust lever reach with a tool.
The set includes a front and rear hydraulic disc brake: BL-M6200 + BR-M6220.
The caliper is a four-piston design and uses a Post Mount interface.
The SM-BH90-SBM brake hose measures front 1000 mm and rear 1700 mm.
The brake fluid is low-viscosity mineral oil SM-LV-OIL, and the recommended rotor is SM-RT70.
