With the Shimano Deore BR-M6100 set, you’ll have confidence when the trail drops into a steep descent and the surface changes every few meters. Braking feels predictable and composed, so you can focus on your line and pace.
The hydraulic disc brake delivers a balanced mix of power and control for both XC and trail riding. The SERVO WAVE mechanism, with its short stroke, improves initial bite and, according to the manufacturer, provides up to 20% higher braking power. The brake levers feature an additional contact point that increases system stiffness and stability under load. The rear brake in the J-kit version makes it easier to route the hose through the inside of the frame and shorten the line if needed.
The set includes front and rear brakes with Shimano BL-M6100L and BL-M6100R brake levers. The two-piston caliper with a Post Mount interface supports consistent braking performance off-road. SM-BH90 hydraulic hoses measure 750 mm for the front and 1600 mm for the rear brake. The brakes are filled with mineral oil and bled.
Shimano Deore BR-M6100 is a front and rear hydraulic brake set for riders who want clean modulation and consistent performance in changing conditions. Sintered pads add durability and balanced performance during longer braking. Thanks to I-Spec EV compatibility, the cockpit looks tidy and control remains natural.
