When the trail drops into a steep descent, you need brakes that can keep up with your courage. The Shimano Deore MT420 front + rear J-kit set gives you the confidence that your braking point will stay predictable even in rough terrain.
This four-piston hydraulic disc brake delivers strong stopping power along with precise modulation, so the bike stays composed even on roots. Opposed pairs of pistons create a wider pad contact area, which helps keep braking performance stable.
One Way Bleeding technology simplifies bleeding with a funnel and helps maintain consistent lever feel. The brakes are filled with mineral oil, and the rear brake is set up as a J-kit for a cleaner installation.
BL-M4100 brake levers feature a slim, sturdy body with a durable master cylinder. A well-balanced ratio of stiffness to power adds predictability on long descents as well as during gentle feathering.
Sintered pads combine balanced braking performance with good durability in demanding conditions. The set is suitable for XC, trail, freeride, and e-bike use, where higher loads are expected.
Assembly designation: BR-MT420 / BL-M4100 for both front and rear brakes.
Hydraulic disc brake with a four-piston caliper and mineral-oil fluid.
SM-BH90 brake hoses: front hose length 1000 mm and rear hose length 1850 mm.
Caliper mounting is Post Mount, and the set is supplied without brake rotors and without adapters.
Shimano Deore MT420 front + rear J-kit is a brake комплект for riders who want powerful yet predictable braking across riding styles. It’s a great fit when you switch between fast sections, technical passages, and long descents.
Thanks to the four-piston design and sintered pads, you get stable braking performance in changing terrain. Post Mount mounting and thoughtful hose routing support a clean look and practical installation.
