Aerocore is a helmet design created by Smith. It is a combination of materials such as EPS and Koroyd, a revolutionary new material that absorbs more energy on impact compared to international standards and at the same time increases airflow. Thanks to the use of Koroyd and EPS, the Aerocore construction allows for multiple vents throughout the helmet without sacrificing protection and comfort.
The Koroyd system consists of thousands of co-polymer extruded tubes that are heat welded to form a unique, consistent and fully engineered core.
