SpeedBox 3.1 for Yamaha (PW-X3)

Description

In the event of an e-bike software update, we recommend uninstalling the SpeedBox from the e-bike first, updating the software, and then reinstalling the SpeedBox onto the e-bike.

A smart third-generation chip with the capability to adjust the e-bike's speed limit.

The SpeedBox 3.1 tuning chip allows for arbitrary adjustments of the e-bike's speed limiter. Once the chip is installed, real-time data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance covered, or range are displayed on the e-bike's screen.

How does SpeedBox 3.1 work?

You activate the SpeedBox 3.1 chip on the e-bike display. After pressing the LIGHT button or ↑↓↑↓, the value of 99 km/h (62 mph) briefly appears on the display, and from that moment, you can ride at unlimited speed.

You can deactivate the chip's function by pressing the LIGHT button or ↑↓↑↓ again. The display will show a value of 25 km/h (16 mph), and the speed limit of 25 km/h is reactivated. The e-bike then operates as it did before the chip installation.

You can adjust the maximum speed limit for pedal assist by toggling through the modes three steps down and then three steps up. Then the current speed limit is displayed on the display. The maximum pedal-assist speed is switched by briefly pressing the LIGHT button or by rotating the rear wheel 360°. The last displayed limit is saved after five seconds of inactivity.
