Superior XP 9.8 is a top-tier ultra-lightweight carbon hardtail, designed for demanding racers as well as ambitious hobby riders looking for maximum performance, speed, and efficiency on the trail. The new generation frame features modern geometry that improves stability, handling, and the bike’s responsiveness in challenging sections and at high speeds.
The carbon frame is not only exceptionally stiff for optimal power transfer to the pedals, but also more comfortable thanks to redesigned seatstays that better absorb vibrations and provide greater comfort on longer rides. The frame is fully compatible with UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) dropouts, and of course it includes internal cable routing, which not only enhances the bike’s aesthetics but also its functionality and component protection.
Front suspension is handled by a premium DT Swiss fork with 100 mm of travel, delivering precise sensitivity and smooth damping on technical XC tracks as well as fast descents.
The drivetrain features a top-of-the-line Shimano XT Di2 groupset, bringing wireless electronic shifting with lightning-fast and precise gear changes in all conditions. The electronic system guarantees unrivaled reliability, low maintenance requirements, and a clean look without unnecessary cables.
Speed and confidence off-road come from lightweight DT Swiss XRC 1700 SPLINE® carbon wheels, which combine low weight, high stiffness, and the ability to absorb impacts—ensuring better acceleration and comfort even on the most demanding courses.
Superior XP 9.8 is simply a machine that makes no compromises – ready for the race circuit as well as ambitious off-road training sessions.
