Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
Fidlock, it is the cradle of innovative magnetic closures and attachments with mechanical lock. The company has been leading the development of these systems since the company was founded in 2007. Magnetic systems can be found, for example, in helmet closures or bicycle bottle cages.
