Fox Speedframe Pro Backfade cycling helmet Lime gets you in the mood for fast, smooth rides off-road—when you want to keep your head protected and stay calm. In its lime-green color, it’s impossible to miss, yet it still looks sporty and clean.
The MIPS Air Node system helps protect your head during angled impacts, which are common on trails. Dual-density Varizorb™ EPS foam spreads impact forces over a larger area. The BOA fit system lets you fine-tune the fit with a single dial, even while wearing gloves. Ventilation channels in the EPS liner keep airflow comfortable even on long climbs.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
BOA is a technology developed by Boa Technology Inc. This patented technology is based on three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial in the form of a rotating wheel, a thin extra-strong lace and low-friction lace guides.
