Uvex Air Wing 2 CC is an affordable universal helmet suitable for all types of cycling.
Inmould technology with direct injection of polystyrene into the shell tightly bonds both parts and distributes the impact energy over the entire surface of the helmet.
The 3D IAS adjustment system allows for easy setting of the inner circumference and height of the helmet inside the shell. The system ensures a perfectly fitting helmet that doesn't press anywhere.
Thanks to simple FAS straps, you can adjust the helmet to fit the shape of your face, and the helmet safely stays on your head in all situations.
A separately sold LED flasher can be attached to the rear part of the helmet - not included in the package.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
