MET Shelter Youth is the children's version of the popular MTB helmet model, providing reliable protection on trails as well as cross-country rides and races.
Thanks to the internal airflow, it is lightweight and well-ventilated, ensuring comfort while wearing.
The helmet is made from a polycarbonate shell, using the In-mould method. It features EPS padding, has extended rear head coverage, and an integrated visor design.
It also offers the Safe-T Sport fit system with a 360° headband, which prevents pressure points around the head.
The helmet has 12 ventilation openings with an internal airflow system for better ventilation and comfort, along with sunglasses holders for a secure place to keep your glasses during climbs or rest periods.

EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
