The Oyo safety helmet allows for easy use by small hands.
The shell, made using in-mould technology, is complemented by 10 ventilation openings for excellent air circulation.
Innovative safety features include Uvex xTRA Shield forehead protection, temple guards, and Uvex KID PROtect for the back of the head, which acts as a shock absorber while also preventing the head from sliding on the child seat backrest.
Secure and comfortable helmet adjustments are enabled by the FAS, Monomatic, and anatomical IAS systems.

In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. The quick adjustment system of the helmet straps allows for optimal helmet position adjustment. The helmet sits firmly on the head at all times and the straps stay in place.
The fastening mechanism located under the chin has several positions and can be easily adjusted with one hand while riding. Its flat design prevents twisting in the hands. Monomatic® is, without exception, standard equipment on all Uvex helmets.
